Orangerie de Cardet

The Orangerie de Cardet is a historic 17th-century estate located in the heart of the authentic village of Cardet, at the foot of the Cévennes. This charming property once housed a silkworm farm (magnaneria) and stables; today, it has been elegantly renovated to offer a romantic and timeless atmosphere. The complex is immersed in a vast 4,000-square-meter garden with centenary trees and consists of a main house and the evocative "Orangerie". It is the ideal place for couples as well as large groups (up to 47 people).

For guest room residents, the day begins with a rich breakfast served in the comfortable shared lounge with a fireplace or, during the fine season, outdoors in the garden. Guest room residents also have access to a fully equipped shared kitchen to prepare their meals independently.

The property offers a variety of unique accommodation solutions, all named after plants historically found in princely orangeries (such as Mulberry, Orange, or Pomegranate):

• Chambres d’hôtes: Five unique guest rooms for 2 to 4 people, furnished with character and warmth.

• Gîtes: Five fully equipped independent apartments, sleeping from 2 to 10 people, perfect for feeling right at home.
