La Gourguille

Passionately managed by Tamara and Bruno, this bourgeois house offers a friendly and informal welcome, where freedom is the keyword. Among secret gardens, a hidden infinity pool, and elegant lounges with a piano, the property invites guests to rediscover the pleasure of slow time in an atmosphere of discreet luxury.

At La Gourguille, there are no rigid schedules. Guests enjoy free access to all common areas, from the fitness room to the electric bicycles available to explore the surroundings. The à la carte breakfast is served on the panoramic terrace with high-end coffee and tea. The garden hosts a "secret museum", a pétanque court, and shaded areas under centenary trees, while the infinity pool offers refreshment in the silence of the village. The property also features a car park with charging stations for electric vehicles and is home to three friendly Birman cats.

The house hosts three exclusive suites—Venezia, Canton, and Saint-Louis—inspired by the owners' travel memories. Each suite is an invitation to explore, decorated with enveloping fabrics, high-quality linens, and bathrooms designed as separate, refined spaces to ensure maximum comfort and sophisticated aesthetics.

The Table d'hôtes (shared dinner table), available upon reservation, is Bruno's kingdom. The personal chef creates entirely homemade gourmet menus using local and seasonal products. Dinners are served on the terrace overlooking the Cévennes mountains, offering guests the choice to dine in privacy or share the meal with the hosts. The wine cellar offers hidden gems from the Côtes du Rhône, with guided tours personally led by Bruno.

Barjac, located between Gard and Ardèche, is an authentic protected village famous for its antique fairs and stone architecture. From the terrace of La Gourguille, the view sweeps across the "blue line" of the Cévennes, offering a privileged vantage point for nature excursions or visits to the typical markets of Occitan Provence.
