Erika Brunel, owner of the Malga Piè farmhouse, has decided to give new life to the rural complex, which stands along the edge of the forest, transforming it into an eco-sustainable farmhouse in Trentino, which uses renewable energy and offers zero km products. But the story begins over 60 years ago…
The Brunel family has been raising livestock for milk production for over four generations. The story begins in the 1960s when grandfather Ferdinando built a small hut, consisting of a stable, barn, kitchen and a small room called "refreshments" dedicated to welcoming passers-by. You could only get to this mountain hut on foot and this is where the name Malga Piè came from.
The passion for nature and animals has also been passed down to the new generation and this time it is a woman who carries forward Ferdinando's dream: Erika
This is how Malga Piè was born in the name of peasant life, genuine products and family hospitality.
THE RESTAURANT
The use of genuine raw materials and attention in the choice of Trentino products are the key ingredients of the farmhouse cuisine. You can enjoy the 0 km meat from our farm, the milk from our cows as well as the cheeses, the eggs from the henhouse collected every morning for a rich breakfast and even the small vegetables from the garden.
Each dish is prepared to immerse you in the tastes and flavors of the Alpine tradition. Enjoy this experience in the natural setting that surrounds us.
