Villa Boscarino
The hotel is a pearl of architecture of the end '800 in the south-east of Sicily. Large openings evoke the sumptuousness of the time, with an eye to the late Gothic style, characteristic of the french palaces and churches. Not by chance the connection with the land beyond the Alps was a tred d'union between the grandfather Francis, creator of the villa, and Ragusa. As a direct result of his travels in France, the young and rampant doctor Boscarino returned to Sicily and created what he called the "Cottage", to protect the ones he loved from the spread of cholera. The villa was the family home until the time of the Italian economic boom, and then almost forgotten in the passing of time . After ten years of restoration work, Villa Boscarino is now ready to accommodate travelers from all over the world. The private garden, almost two thousand square meters big, is full of trees and plants, and offers guests privacy and comfort. Inside, calm and silence reign as in a liturgical church; and in fact the heart of the house is the old chapel, now converted into the breakfast room, which animates every morning with aromas and flavors of Sicily. The rooms reflect the architectural combination of the hotel: the "profane" of clean lines and modern furnishing, combines with the sanctity and purity of white limestone.
Rooms
Guests of Villa Boscarino can choose between seven rooms equipped with Simmons mattresses and pillows, and they are furnished with famous elements of the modern design story like Eames Plastic Armchair “DAX” designed by Charles & Ray Eames in the 1950. Free Wi-Fi connection, fully stocked minibar, and HDTVs with full cable access are also provided.
The ground floor rooms are characterized by their exclusive verandas, in which it is possible to relax in the open air, far from the daily grind.

The location of Villa Boscarino combines the convenience of being just steps from the historic center with the privacy of a secluded get-away.
Villa Boscarino is located at five minutes by car from the historical center of Ragusa, and ten minutes from the old baroque area of the town, Ragusa Ibla, that together with the masterpieces of Val di Noto were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2002.
The Villa is an ideal location for exploring the beauty of the Hyblean territory and Eastern Sicily, and is easily accessible from the airports of Comiso and Catania.
How to arrive:
By train: Catania Central Train Station is located about 100km from the hotel.
By air: Comiso airport is 26 kilometers away from Villa Boscarino and is 30 minutes away by car; other Catania airport is less than 100 kilometres away and about 90 minutes away by car.
