The architecture of the building proves the complexity of its history, since at the beginning it used to be a religious building, later it became a private residence and lately it was changed into a resort. An evidence of its past is to be found in the country church of Nostra Signora dell'Annunciata, which were built in the first half of the eighteenth century the leave of the bishops' see.
