Close to such important centres as Imola and Faenza and a short distance from Bologna and Ravenna, La Locanda di Bagnara is a historical building dating from the 18th century in the heart of the splendid fortified village of Bagnara di Romagna, which is also renowned for its Fortress and Mascagni Museum. La Locanda features a wide, charming glass-roofed central cloister, which houses the restaurant where the dishes of innovative cuisine can be tasted, whereas traditional dishes are served in the smaller side rooms, where a more intimate, rustic atmosphere is inspired by the original beamed ceilings and old fireplaces. There are eight wide and beautifully appointed ensuite bedrooms, with precious marble finishing in the bathrooms. The frescoed large suite (52 sqm) in 19th century style is really unique; it is also offered as a “romantic package”, combined with a private table for two on the small terrace above the restaurant.
