Our bed and breakfast in San Candido is located in an historical building in the center of the town. Today this ancient building is our home. A house of women, warm, welcoming and full of character, where the decor becomes an emotional experience and every detail tells a story. The meaning of the word zenana in fact is "of the women" or "pertaining to women" and refers to the part of a house which is reserved for the women of the household. As your hosts we aspire to express the enthusiasm and passion we have for our task. Each object, piece of furniture and detail has been chosen with passion and care to be placed in it’s perfect spot. The ambience is infused by delicate perfumes, incense and candles; all internal spaces and rooms are adorned by delicate and precious fabrics from different eras.
LOCATION
San Candido (in German known as Innichen) is a lovely alpine village in South Tyrol’s Pusteria Valley. The village is home to the 13th century Innichen Abbey, the most important Romanesque building in Tyrol. Sorrounded by the Dolomites, this village is a paradise for nature lovers all year round. In this true jewel of the Puster Valley, in the heart of the Dolomites, where nature reigns in every season.
