Il Tabià

In Pieve di Cadore, an enchanting barn has taken on the features of a delightful charming B&B, where Olga and Fabio welcome guests in an atmosphere surrounded by the scent of fir trees and larches.

The Tabià, so called in homage to the typical wooden barns, seems to emerge from a fairy tale, a dream that Olga and Fabio transformed into reality in 2021 through a careful restoration of the family tabià.

Preserving its typical characteristics, the couple has in fact paid homage to the history of the residence by decorating the interior of the structure with ancient wood, recovered from old barns in the area, thus giving a touch of authenticity to the ancient residence.

During the summer season, guests can enjoy the large garden, ideal for sunbathing, organizing a barbecue or booking a special moment in the characteristic gazebo, where platters of cured meats, cheeses and local wines are served (in winter, the same are available in the breakfast room).

THE BREAKFAST

At Tabià, breakfast is a unique culinary experience thanks to the passion of Fabio, an excellent pastry chef, and Olga who will accompany you among delicious freshly baked cakes and a selection of local artisanal products seated in a breakfast room with a breathtaking view.

Every day, guests are delighted with artisanal cured meats and smoked speck, mountain cheeses, homemade yoghurt, local pollen and honey, but above all with extraordinary cakes prepared fresh daily. From classic brioches to refined pastry art creations, made with Petra flours and mountain butter, the proposals range from sacher to strudel, from meringues to cheesecake with fresh berries, following the chef's creativity!
