Antico Sipario Boutique Hotel
Antico Sipario is the new Boutique Hotel born from the restoration of an ancient medieval building in the historic center of the millennial village of Paciano, a few kilometers from Lake Trasimeno, on the border between Umbria and Tuscany.
The structure, cultural center and small theater of the town throughout the last century, after a period of abandonment returns to life and culture in a new guise.
Antico Sipario is a space in which art and in particular the Theater play a leading role:
the eight rooms and common areas are in fact dedicated to the "Theatre" concept, declined in all its expressions.
We wanted to give priority to the accessible common areas, such as the garden, the internal cloister illuminated by the sunlight, overlooked by the walkways on the two floors, the conference room created from the former little theatre, and above all our hall which looks like a social room.
Everyone will find their place here: the children will play on the colored carpet in the space dedicated to them, the guests will consult the books (even in foreign languages) from the well-stocked library, or they will exchange impressions of places, programs and experiences, sitting on the red or perched on the "round table".
Rooms
The structure has eight rooms with oak parquet flooring and exposed beams, all different and studied in detail, with an exclusive view of the Borgo or the Umbrian-Tuscan countryside.
The bathrooms are made with regard to comfort and space, some equipped with large showers, others with hydromassage tubs, all with attention to the environment and sustainability with paraben-free olive oil detergent products.
A wooden tray awaits you in each room with cups and a kettle and a choice of herbal teas for a pleasant break and relaxation.
You won't find the wardrobe, too bulky and impractical, all in sight on the local handcrafted coat hanger which is a bit retro and suggests how to get dressed on the fly.
My gym. In each room you will find a basket with: yoga mat, weights, elastic, anti-stress balls and a large mirror so you don't forget your body and the importance of its well-being.
LOCATION
Antico Sipario is located in the historic center of Paciano, a small Umbrian town in the Trasimeno area, included among the "most beautiful villages in Italy".
Its geographical position places it a short distance between two of the most famous cities in the world, Florence and Rome, which can be reached in an hour and a half, and even closer to other well-known places, such as Siena, Assisi, Montepulciano, Perugia, Cortona. For shopping lovers, the Valdichiana Outlet Village is about 30 minutes away by car.
