Six spacious rooms decorated with soft colors and graceful hues of a typical Ligurian atmosphere and furnished with a pleasant overlapping of antique and modern furniture. Each room has its own bathroom, decorated with Carrara slate and marble or Bisazza mosaics. All the rooms overlook the splendid scenery of the Levanto valley and the blue sea horizon.

The cornerstone of good food is the quality of the ingredients and working closely with selected local producers is a core component of our Kitchen’s approach.
The use of local high quality ingredients allows La Sosta Kitchen to employ a “simple” preparation technique, which will not overwhelm the core ingredients, but will in fact enhance their characteristics.
Guests can typically choose: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, fresh orange juice, bread, butter, jams, honey, sweet or savory cake prepared by the Kitchen, focaccia, a selection of local cheeses, muesli, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit.
Guests can enjoy a Wine Tasting Aperitivo: a journey through the Cinque Terre vineyards or choose one of the cocktails prepared by our Sommelier and accompanied with appetisers prepared by the Kitchen.

Liguria splendidly combines sea and mountains. If you head inland you are rewarded by the privilege of soaring above the sea horizon. Levanto, once a picturesque fishing port, is a charming seaside resort on the Eastern Riviera with quaint narrow alleys (“caruggi”) in the historic centre, houses painted in pastel colours, a 14th century Castle and a Clock Tower. Then there are low, pebbly beaches washed by the sea waves – there are six family-run bathing establishments in Levanto. If you walk inland you find a wide network of trekking trails winding amid the typical Mediterranean bush, scented with myrtle, lavender and rosemary. Levanto is considered the “Gate to the Cinque Terre”, the best known rugged portion of coast in Liguria with the beautiful small towns of  Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola e Riomaggiore. Each one of these quaint places welcomes visitors with a host of stunning surprises. They are easily reached from  Levanto and in the summer there are regular boat services linking Cinque Terre, Portovenere, Portofino and Genova. Monterosso can also be reached from Levanto in about two hours' fairly demanding walk. Dirt paths and old flights of steps lead up to Punta Mesco, with the most enchanting panoramic view in the Eastern Ligurian Riviera.

By car: exit Carrodano-Levanto along A12 Genova-Livorno Motorway, then proceed on SS566 towards Levanto.
By train: Levanto railway station on the Genova-La Spezia railway lin.
By air: Genova airport, about 90 Km away, or
Pisa airport, about 110 Km away.
