Palace Hotel Viareggio
The Hotel Palace Viareggio is a historic Liberty-style building, completely restored between 2018 and 2023, with a careful approach to the recovery and preservation of all its furnishings. Stepping into the hotel offers a unique experience that evokes the architecture of the early 20th century. The “Belle Époque” room, where breakfast is served, is a perfect example of meticulous restoration and preservation of vintage furnishings. The use of precious wallpaper enhances the retro atmosphere, creating a charming ambiance from a bygone era. This distinctive character has made the hotel’s bars and restaurants a popular spot not only for tourists but also for local residents. Our desire is to make the hotel a place for both guests and Versilia locals to enjoy.
The Palace experience is best savored on the beautiful Terrace, where every evening guests can admire the sunset over the Gulf of Poets, experiencing the seamless blend of the sea and the structure. During the summer, the hotel has a partnership with the beach club "La Pace," equipped with a pool and located right in front of the hotel. Parking is available in nearby areas with a daily rate, in agreement with the local municipality.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the Belle Époque room, in a sophisticated and retro atmosphere. The buffet offers a wide selection in line with international breakfast standards: all types of coffee and hot drinks, fruit juices, cakes prepared by our chef, croissants, cold cuts and turkey breast, fresh and aged cheeses, various types of bread, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, sausages, cereals, muesli, dried and dehydrated fruit, yogurt, fresh and canned fruit. Halal, gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegan options are also available.
Rooms
Our rooms offer a timeless atmosphere. Completely restyled, the bathrooms have been fully renovated, and the Dorelan mattresses, pillows, and TVs are new. The furniture, and where possible, the original 1960s parquet flooring, have been carefully restored. The wall colors have been chosen to convey a sense of relaxation. The Superior rooms offer a front-facing sea view, while the Deluxe rooms with lateral sea views are divided into two types: those with a balcony overlooking the sunset over the Gulf of Poets, and those with a terrace of at least 22 m², equipped with sunbeds.
THE RESTAURANT
The hotel has two restaurants:

Ristorante Decò: recently renovated in retro style and adjacent to the Blu Bar Bistrò, it offers traditional Versilian and Tuscan cuisine, prepared with carefully selected local and fresh ingredients. Open all year round.

Ristorante Blu Bar Terrazza: open from May to September, located on the terrace with a stunning view of the sea and the Apuan Alps behind. Dining on the terrace is a romantic and unforgettable experience. The evening ambiance combined with the quality of the cuisine has made this restaurant a favorite among locals, reflecting our aim to make the hotel a place for both tourists and the local community to enjoy.
