Relais Castello Bevilacqua is a unique place to live an ancient dream in an authentic medieval castle. Wrapped in a fairy-tale atmosphere, the relais has seven romantic junior suites distinguished by comfort and elegance.
The Castle of Bevilacqua was built in 1336 by Guglielmo Bevilacqua and was completed by his son Francesco on behalf of the Signoria Scaligera of the time. It was conceived as a fortress to defend itself from the neighboring lordships, the Carraresi and the Estensi. Only recently (1990) the building, purchased by the Cerato family, is regaining its former splendor after meticulous restorations that allow visitors to admire a building that encloses within its walls almost 700 years of history.
