In the ancient medieval village of Camporgiano, perched on a rocky outcrop, stands the imposing Rocca Estense. Majestic and fascinating, with its towers and fortified walls, it dominates the village and the entire Garfagnana valley.
This historic residence, owned by the Guasparini family and now transformed into a charming scattered hotel, is the perfect place for a stay, weddings, and events. Situated in an enviable position in the center of Garfagnana, it allows for the planning of excursions and visits to the most beautiful places in the area.
With a significant regeneration effort, we have transformed the historic residence into a charming hotel. A stay at the Rocca Estense of Camporgiano is an exciting travel experience in a place of indisputable beauty, to be experienced at least once in a lifetime. It evokes a fairy-tale charm, stories of knights, bandits, and ladies that seem to still be alive.
Rooms
The Maison du Charme has a total of 6 rooms, 3 of which are suites, with a total of 18 beds almost entirely concentrated within the Rocca. Thanks to a significant recently completed renovation, we have created very evocative rooms and suites, not only for the charm of the place but also for the attention to details, such as period furnishings (antique tables in the suites, the piano, and the ancient built-in safe in the living room), precious crystal chandeliers, and bathrooms in Calacatta gold marble from our Apuan Alps. Each room is unique, characterized by different furnishings and colors. Additionally, the names of the lodgings strongly recall the history and the Este family: Duke Niccolò, Duke Ercole, Duke Leonello, and Duke Alfonso.
SPA
To further enrich your experience at La Rocca di Camporgiano, we have added a new heated outdoor hot tub with chromotherapy. This exclusive comfort is reserved for our guests, guaranteeing moments of pure relaxation immersed in the surrounding nature. The tub is equipped with a marine salt electrolysis water treatment system, ensuring a regenerating and natural experience.
