Originally a fortress, the Château was ennobled and passed down through generations of families. In 1989, it was acquired by Japanese investor Yasuhiko Sata, who undertook extensive renovations to transform the abandoned castle into a magnificent hotel. He also developed an 18-hole golf course across the 75 hectares of surrounding estate. The resort officially opened its doors on June 16, 1990. Today, Hôtel Golf Château de Chailly features 45 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, 8 self-catering apartments, two exquisite restaurants, a stylish bar, and one of the finest 18-hole golf courses in Burgundy. THE RESTAURANT
At Armançon, located in the heart of the Château, indulge in the signature dishes crafted by Chef Alexandre Clochet-Rousselet. Inspired by childhood memories and favorite ingredients, the Chef brings creativity and passion to each dish he creates. Whether dining alone, with family, or with friends, every meal at Armançon is a special moment, featuring dishes prepared with meticulous care and refinement. Similar to the Table des Producers, the Table du Chef offers local cuisine made with products from our regional producers. We prioritize a short supply chain to ensure the highest quality on our customers' plates.
SPA
Experience our newly redesigned wellness area, featuring a jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. Accessible directly from your hotel room in a bathrobe and slippers (provided for your convenience), this tranquil space is located on the ground floor of the main building, beneath charming stone vaults. Our outdoor heated swimming pool is open from May through October. Relax on a sun-lounger and bask in the sunshine by the pool or on the surrounding lawns. Additionally, we offer a small fitness studio to help you maintain your exercise routine while away from home.
