Antica Corte Pallavicina

Antica Corte Pallavicina is a former 14th century farm, facing the Po. Massimo and Luciano Spigaroli reserve a dozen suites and rooms for their guests, in an environment that combines comfort and authenticity. The old fortified castle, built in 1320 by the Marquises Pallavicino, is a place linked to the culture of food and typical products. In the magnificent cellars cold cuts, culatelli, cheeses and wines are refined. The structure offers the opportunity to learn how fresh pasta and cured meats are prepared and to see animals of ancient breeds. You can then follow a path linked to the cultivation of vegetable gardens, gardens and fruit trees or discover the banks of the Po river, on foot or by bicycle, reaching Busseto, Zibello and Colorno. The court is now a 360-degree cultural site: it hosts art exhibitions, musical events, small conferences and historical re-enactment evenings. The rooms of the relais are simply elegant, equipped with all comforts and with attention to every detail, with large bathtubs and period furnishings flanked by modern inserts. The cuisine of starred chef Massimo Spigaroli finds expression in the small restaurant overlooking the river.
