You will take a plunge into 19th-century France at the Château de la Tourlandry, a historic residence that was dear to Napoleon III. This one-night experience is designed for those seeking a deep reconnection with history and nature through "slow" tourism. You will stay in the Chambres Nobles, where the charm of the Second Empire meets an ecological soul: original vintage furnishings, natural materials and a Digital Detox atmosphere (no TV, only period books) to regenerate the spirit.
The evening will be crowned by a typical 3-course dinner, a journey through the flavours of the Maine-et-Loire served in a setting of absolute authenticity. Between a stroll in the PermaParc and the view of the estate's Giant Sequoias, you will feel part of a story that spans the centuries.

Located on the highest point of Anjou, the Château de la Tourlandry is not just a hotel, but an outpost of history, science and botany. Rebuilt in 1856 in full Second Empire style, the castle owes much of its charm to its connection with Napoleon III, who was a regular guest. Today, thanks to the passion of owners Pascale and Philippe, the residence has been reborn as a model of sustainable tourism through the In TerraMaugia project.
The experience here is openly "slow": you can explore the 3-hectare PermaParc, following the Flânerie Végétale, an educational trail among over 200 botanical species and the three majestic Giant Sequoias donated by the Emperor himself. The interiors are an ode to the 19th century and to the imagination of Jules Verne, with natural materials such as hemp and silk, authentic period furnishings and an approach that invites deep reconnection, removing the superfluous (such as the TV) in favour of silence and reading.
