Superbly positioned above the seaside town of Santa Maria di Castellabate and the fishing village of San Marco, stands the peaceful historic village of Castellabate, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its winding cobbled streets, 12th century castle, Basilica and unspoiled panoramic views of the coast and valleys below. Overlooking the Gulf of Salerno, from its terraces you can see the famous island of Capri and the fabulous Amalfi coast.

Hotel Palazzo Gentilcore is a small, bright and airy "boutique hotel" located in the historic center of Castellabate. Rebuilt on an old factory at the beginning of the 17th century, enlarged and modified in its structure, it has been a noble residence since 1745. From 1860 to 1930 it was the seat of the Municipality of Castellabate, from the end of the 60's it was used as a hotel and recently renovated with typically Mediterranean style, colors and materials. All the rooms and the 12 rooms are finely furnished with majolica, terracotta and stone: all the rooms are different from each other!

In the morning you can have breakfast on the garden terrace overlooking the valley and in the evening you can dine in our restaurant or choose from a good selection of nearby restaurants offering fresh and local quality food.

You can reach a variety of golden sandy beaches, coves, coves and the adjacent seaside resorts of San Marco and Santa Maria in 10 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.
