Situated among the vineyards of Cognac, the Logis is nestled within a 3000 sq.m. garden rich with mature plants and maritime pines. The property aims to deliver the feel of a boutique hotel rather than a traditional B&B, featuring a theme closely linked to travel and local culture.
Hospitality
Time at the Logis is spent playing a game of Croquet on the lawn (English-style, accompanied by a glass of chilled wine) or challenging others on the illuminated 13-meter boulodrome (pétanque court). Sharon and Phil, who speak fluent French, German, and a little Italian, are always ready to organize customized tours through the vineyards. In fact, the Logis partners with the renowned biodynamic winery "Les Hauts de Talmont" to offer guests exclusive vineyard tours alongside wine and cognac tastings.
Rooms
The 7 rooms and suites are spacious and distributed over two floors, each named after different types of Cognac. The decor is a curated mix of traditional style and contemporary touches. For those seeking total independence, "Le P'tit Logis"—a self-catering gîte for two people—is available starting from April 2026.
LOCATION
Situated in the village of Epargnes, near Talmont and Cozes, the Logis is just 15 minutes away from Atlantic beaches (Meschers, Royan, St-Georges de Didonne). It serves as the perfect base for exploring Bordeaux, Saintes, La Rochelle, or the islands of Île de Ré and Île d'Oléron, or for cycling along the flat paths passing directly in front of the property.
Access: The nearest airports are Bordeaux (BOD), La Rochelle, or Limoges. Train connections are available to Royan or Pons. A car is highly recommended to explore the area.
