Today, as in past centuries, the Convent of San Colombo keeps intact the essentiality of the ancient monasteries, where time seems to have stopped. The Convent of San Colombo welcomes guests and travelers in a restored setting in full respect of the original 16th century structure. Rooms
The 8 rooms of the Convent, of different types (Superior and Classic), were created in the ancient Cells used by the Friars, as well as in the dovecote and in the ancient granary of the Convent; all overlook the Botanical Garden. All, deliberately furnished in a minimal way, have every comfort: private bathroom with bath or shower, heating, wi-fi internet connection, LCD TV, courtesy set with natural handmade soaps, hairdryer.
Breakfast, prepared as it once was, with local artisan products, is served as a buffet in the Locanda del Convento.
THE RESTAURANT
The Locanda del Convento. In a place full of quiet, where the well-being of the soul corresponds to that of the body, food takes on a new guise. The cuisine is based on the products of the earth that follow the season: spontaneous herbs, vegetables and greens, including wild ones, legumes and cereals; great attention is given to the production of cheeses and preserved meat of the territory. The products used are almost exclusively zero-kilometer, many come from the territory of the Park, all from selected farms.

SPA
The convent has a wellness area with a massage room upon reservation. All guests can choose from a wide range of massages including energizing, relaxing and draining.
LOCATION
The Dimora is located at an altitude of 1088 meters above sea level, along the provincial road that from Barisciano enters the heart of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park. The complex is immersed in a centuries-old oak forest and is also home to the Floristic Research Center of the Apennines with a beautiful Botanical Garden.
