A night at Château de la Huberdière, a sixteenth-century château ten minutes from Amboise, with dinner at the guest table. In the evening, in the dining room or on the terrace overlooking the park, guests share boards of Touraine cheeses, charcuterie and vegetables, prepared in-house with produce from the garden and nearby growers; on Thursdays Lodovica, the owner, cooks a set all-Italian dinner in the spirit of a family meal.
The day can be spent at the royal château of Amboise and Clos Lucé, or at Chenonceau, 21 km away; before dinner there is time for the 14-hectare park and, in the warmer months, the heated lap pool. A homemade breakfast rounds off the stay.

Château de la Huberdière is a sixteenth-century château in Nazelles-Négron, on the north bank of the Loire opposite Amboise, restored between 2021 and 2023 and run by its owners, Lodovica and Patrick. It has ten individually decorated rooms, a 14-hectare park with a pond, and a lap pool heated from April to October.
