Chateau du Pin
Located in the heart of legendary Brocéliande and a short distance from the Emerald Coast, the Château du Pin is a small, charming castle rebuilt at the end of the 18th century on the lands of an ancient lordly fiefdom. Immersed in a 9-hectare park of meadows and woodlands featuring 300-year-old oak trees, this country residence is managed by a female painter and an esthete, whose passion for art is reflected in a warm, delicate, and welcoming atmosphere. The architectural complex evokes the spirit of old-world villages and the land of the Druids.
Rooms
The rooms and suites, located on the first and second floors, combine antique parquet floors, period fireplaces, and carefully curated themed decors:
Victor Hugo Suite: A spacious family suite on the 1st floor consisting of two communicating rooms facing southeast. The master bedroom offers a theatrical atmosphere in purple and crimson tones with a king-size bed , while the children's room (with twin beds) is decorated with teddy bears under exposed wooden beams.
Marcel Proust Room: Located on the 1st floor and facing west, it features a romantic atmosphere with a four-poster canopy bed crowned with white roses, pearl gray and white tones, and views of the large oak trees.
George Sand Suite: A family suite on the 1st floor facing west. It includes a double bedroom decorated in a straw-and-orange Toile de Jouy style, and a second children's bedroom with twin beds, a floral quilt, and fairy tale books.
Marguerite Yourcenar Junior Suite: Located on the 2nd floor with double exposure, it offers a relaxing environment in ivory and beige tones, painted wood floors, and twin beds with crisp white duvets.
Pierre Loti Suite: A comfortable suite on the 2nd floor with double exposure, characterized by subtle oriental ornaments, baroque armchairs in striped fabric, and a double bed on a painted wooden floor.
In all rooms: Flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, courtesy tray, books, and magazines. Bathrooms feature bathrobes and hair dryers (the Yourcenar suite includes a Gustavian-style bathtub).
