Located in Hastingues, a 14th-century English bastide perched on a rocky outcrop, Château d'Estrac is a historic late 18th-century residence. Managed by owners Remy and Eric, the property is designed as a countryside retreat to live in harmony with nature. The interiors are decorated with period furniture and antiques collected from local dealers, retracing the history of art and architecture. Surrounded by a wooded park with ancient trees and a panoramic terrace overlooking the Gaves réunis valley (a classified site since 1942), the castle offers a true timeless haven and can be fully privatized for family gatherings or events.

Castle life includes a variety of amenities and shared spaces dedicated to relaxation:

• Dining: Located within the castle's former outbuildings is the restaurant "L'atelier du Carcoilh". An optional breakfast service is also available in the morning.

• Common Areas: Guests have access to the large outdoor terrace (equipped with tables, a plancha, and a barbecue), the main lounge, and a library housing a collection of ancient books, history, and art history volumes.

• Pool and Relaxation: The park features an outdoor swimming pool shaded by centennial trees, complete with a shower, sun loungers, and umbrellas.

• Extra Services: Optional daily cleaning service is available.

• Estate Animals: The estate is home to a harmonious community of animals (two dogs, Eugène and Olhette, a cat named "Baronne Estrac", and a family of Indian Runner ducks). Due to their presence, the property cannot accommodate other four-legged guests.

Accommodations include high-quality bedding and linens to ensure optimal rest. Bed sheets and towels are provided upon arrival. In the event of full privatization, guests enjoy exclusive use of the shared spaces, including the grand lounge, the library, and the Grande Galerie.

Situated in the Landes department, right on the edge of the Basque Country, the castle is just 30 minutes away from the Atlantic Ocean waves. The location is perfect for exploring nearby attractions such as the Arthous Abbey, the Jean Rameau gardens, and the thermal baths of Salies-de-Béarn. Nearby activities include walking along the Gaves rivers, canoeing in Sordes-l'Abbaye, water sports (kneeboard and wakeskate) at Sames Lake, activities at Guiche Lake, and horseback riding just a few hundred meters from the property.
