Sulle orme del Palladio

The Barchessa di Villa Pisani is located within the garden of the historic Villa Pisani by architect Andrea Palladio, 16th century, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Conceived as a country villa for the noble Venetian Pisani family, the Villa stands near the Guà River, a tributary of the Brenta, and includes a large characteristic building, La Barchessa precisely. This was originally a rustic building with large arched canopies for essentially agricultural use, while today, after careful restoration and complete renovation, it is back to life in the 21st century, preserved and enhanced as a relais, event space and restaurant.
