The electric bicycle has changed what is possible in Chianti. The hills that once required serious training can now be ridden by anyone reasonably fit, on the white roads between vineyards, olive groves and cypress-lined drives that are the real way into the landscape.
The tour leaves central Florence by minivan and continues by e-bike into the Chianti countryside, with a guide riding alongside and the van following. Stops include a boutique winery and an olive mill, with a Tuscan lunch paired with the estate's wines before the ride back.
Minimum age 14; riders should be between 1.60 and 1.90 metres tall.
