A night in the hills of the Valpolicella Classica, in a restored country farmstead among vineyards and olive groves. You arrive in the afternoon, leave the car and let the house set the pace: the pool in the warm season, the garden, the terrace looking over the hills towards Verona.
The heart of the stay is an hour in the wellness area, reserved for the two of you: Turkish bath, heated hot tub and wooden loungers beneath the beams of the old house, with herbal teas and juices on hand. The next morning, a buffet breakfast and, if you wish to make a day of it, the staff's suggestions for a winery visit or a walk among the valley's Romanesque churches.

Corte Saggin Charme Relais is an old country house on the Castelrotto hill in San Pietro in Cariano, restored with its original beams and tufa walls. Eight rooms overlooking the hills or the garden, an outdoor pool open from June to October and a wellness area with Turkish bath and hot tub. Verona is about twenty minutes away, Lake Garda around half an hour.
