Villa Crespia

The estate's name harks back to the term "crespia," a wine produced in Franciacorta in the late Middle Ages and considered one of the first experiments in sparkling wine production. It was the result of a careful blending of must, fresh grapes, and a small amount of water, which, when reboiled with the previous vintage's wine, produced a fresh, youthful refermented wine.

Today, Villa Crespia is a winery equipped with all the latest technology and descending to a depth of 12 meters to find the ideal environment for producing high-quality, meticulously crafted Franciacorta wines.

The tasting, lasting 1.5 hours, includes a guided tour of the estate's cellars and a tasting of two of the winery's Franciacortas.
