The guided tour opens with the story of the cellar’s origins and the production secrets introduced by Madame Clicquot, the daring pioneer who in 1818 created the first blended rosé champagne in history. The experience includes an olfactory workshop – an exclusive sensory journey to decode the delicate aromatic nuances of rosé – and the spectacular descent into the legendary Crayères, the historic underground chalk cellars listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The activity culminates in a guided tasting of two cuvées of absolute prestige: the Maison’s Brut Rosé and the refined Vintage Rosé.
Founded in 1772 in Reims, Maison Veuve Clicquot is a global symbol of excellence, luxury and innovation, historically guided by the famous motto “Only one quality, the finest”.
