Located in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the beating heart of Burgundy's famous 'Climats' — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — Maison Dufouleur Frères is the emblem of a centuries-old winemaking tradition whose documented family origins date back to 1596 with Gilles Dufouleur. Historically born as fouleurs (grape treaders) and becoming distinguished merchants in 1848 with Symphorien Dufouleur, the members of the dynasty expanded the business into international markets, eventually being appointed Official Suppliers to the Royal Court of Sweden. Established for over a century within a charming château acquired in 1912, the Maison is today led by three sixth-generation cousins, focused on an artisanal model that celebrates the estate's illustrious vineyards, among which a historic plot in the legendary Clos-Vougeot stands out.
