Villaviciosa is the capital of Asturias's cider country, set between the estuary that runs down to Rodiles beach and hills planted with apple orchards. Four kilometres from the centre, in the hamlet of Lugás, an 18th-century Asturian casona houses Hotel La Corte de Lugás. This package combines your stay with dinner at the hotel restaurant, which is reserved for guests.
The cooking is home-style, built on local produce and traditional Asturian recipes: fabada, cachopo, local cheeses, meat, fish and homemade desserts. Dinner must be booked with the hotel by 6 pm on the day.
The next day the coast is a few minutes away, Gijón and Oviedo less than forty minutes, and the Picos de Europa about an hour's drive.

Hotel La Corte de Lugás is a 4-star rural hotel set in a restored 18th-century Asturian casona in Lugás, 4 km from Villaviciosa. Rooms are spread between the main house and separate bungalows, from standard and superior rooms with a sitting area to duplexes and suites with a fireplace or jacuzzi; all have Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning and a safe.
Guests have a lounge with fireplace, a library, gardens, a café with terrace and free parking. Dogs are welcome at no extra charge and with no size limit.
