A night at Château du Portereau with an hour at the Shaman Spa and a 60-minute treatment each. The spa occupies part of the Pavillon, the château's former stables: hammam, sauna, solarium and herbal tea bar, with an outdoor hot tub in the park and a south-facing terrace. After time in the facilities you choose your treatment, a tailored massage or a personalised facial.
In the evening you can dine at L'Attilio or, in the warmer months, at the Guinguette on the banks of the Sèvre; breakfast is served at the château in the morning. The spa is open every day from 10am to 7pm.

Château du Portereau is a house more than four centuries old in Vertou, on the edge of Nantes, set in three hectares of parkland on the Sèvre Nantaise among Muscadet vineyards. Once a hunting estate of the Lefèvre-Utile family, founders of LU biscuits, it reopened as a hotel in 2026 after a long restoration. Its 26 rooms and suites are split between the château and the former stables of the Pavillon; the park holds a heated outdoor pool, the Shaman Spa and the riverside Guinguette.
