Welcome to the Ortigia Royal Suite Dimora which was born in the Giudecca district of Syracuse, one of the oldest and most fascinating sites on the island of Ortigia. The residence is positioned in front of and overlooking the sea. Composed of large suites recovered in their splendid architectural beauty, suites whose dimensions are able to satisfy the highest demands.
The noble Palace now transformed into a Hotel appears to be present in ancient maps of the 1500's but it can be assumed that the current conformation is due to a post-earthquake reconstruction of the end of the 1600's; already in a map dating back to 1717 (Dufour H.Raymond), we have evidence of its current configuration.
The structure has undergone a laborious renovation to bring the Palazzo back to its original beauty; the location offers an exceptional view as the entire building stands facing the sea, dominating the extreme tip of Syracuse on the Mediterranean Sea at 180 degrees.
Rooms
The suites are characterized by elegant interior furnishings and original period furniture. The structure is receptive at any time of the year and is equipped with an efficient air conditioning / heating system with thermostatic control; the whole internal/external lighting system is made with LED brightness.

Temple of Apollo: Located in the Ortigia area, the Temple of Apollo is one of the oldest Greek temples still existing in Sicily. Even though only a few fragments remain, it's still a fascinating place to admire ancient Greek architecture.
